It also stated you don't need an internet connection to use it BUT I could not remote in to my pc unless I had my internet going, firewall off, etc. I have cable 12mbps service, not slow by any means and did not effect wired connection so much, however, the other two systems would literally get down to one bar when I ran Tonido and it was very choppy to use. The biggest issue I had was a major drain on my connection to other computers.
